THE PRAGUE CASTLE'S GOLDEN LANE TAKES A NEW LOOK
Five centuries of history come alive in a new exhibition opened in the newly restored Golden Lane. There are several houses reconstructed there- a modest house of a shooter- a member of the guard of the Emperor Rudolf II, a Medieval tavern, a goldsmith's workshop, a salon of a famous Prague fortune teller Madame de Thebes or an alchemist's lab. Nine out of totally 16 tiny houses of the Golden Lane were reopened as expositions. The alchemist's lab can be found inside the White Tower in the beginning of the Golden Lane.
The Golden Lane is included into both circuits offered to Prague Castle visitors, just like it used to be before its reconstruction.
